{DIY} Thrift Store Lamp

On a recent trip to my local thrift store, I spotted a lamp that I knew would be perfect for Charlotte.  And with a $5.00 price tag?  I was sold!

It came without a lampshade, so I headed over to Target to buy a plain white drum shade.  To jazz it up a bit, I also grabbed some green ric rac trim.

Then I heated up my glue gun and went to town!  For less than $20, I got an adorable, custom lamp for Charlotte's room.  Cute, right?
